Pedagogy Projects

My pedagogy project for Fall 2024 is implementing standards-based grading in my Calculus II course. I have been interested in alternative grading practices for a couple of years; attending the 2025 Grading Conference gave me the confidence to finally give it a go. In addition to the conference talks, the materials shared in this repository have been very helpful during the planning phase. My main motivations for implementing standards-based grading are to reduce test anxiety, and center the focus on the content rather than the points.
